Abia Govt releases whopping sum of 100 Million Naira for completion of Enyimba FC stadium

   Abia state governor Dr.  Okezie Ikpeazu has released the sum of 100 million Naira for the completion of the Enyimba FC stadium.




In an interview,  the chief press secretary to Abia State governor  Mr.  Eyinnaya Apollos confirmed that the money was released to the contractor on Wednesday (Nov.  22nd 2017). He said Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu's Dream is to have a stadium that will be serve not just Enyimba FC,  but the state and nation at large.  
In a related development,  the contractor  handling the project Mr Ebi Egbe of MONI MICHELLE sports confirmed that he has received  the amount paid, however he said that he hopes the money completes the work, as according to him, the job has variations, but promised to return to site. It could be recalled that the Enyimba FC stadium reconstruction project started in November 2015 and has seen Enyimba FC play their league and continental matches away from about,  notably in Umuahia. Mother Fakes Son’s Kidnap To Extort N5m From Husband

A mother of two has been arrested by the Department of State Security Service for allegedly kidnapping her own son and demanding a ransom of N5 million from her husband. Security and family sources confirmed that the woman identified as Baraka, connived with one Rukayya and another accomplice who called the husband, pretending to be the kidnapper, and demanded the N5 million ransom. Police Public Relations Officer, Asp Bitrus Noam, confirmed the incident, saying the case was with the Department of State Security Service.
